If You Were Here Now

If you were at Borgo di Vagli in your Tuscan residence in the coming month, below are a few attractions to consider visiting.

Festival dei 2 Mondi (Festival of the 2 Worlds)
Spoleto
27th June – 13 July

This year as well, the Festival of 2 Worlds meets the school world, attracting young people to the discovery of a cultural identity related to the creation and development of the Festival of Spoleto.

The festival offers children and young people a series of initiatives: the contest WE ARE THE FESTIVAL includes drama courses, education, internships and promotions on shows dedicated to young people.

WE ARE THE FESTIVAL, in its fourth edition, is a contest open to all pupils in primary schools and middle schools in the town of Spoleto.

The venues of the Festival, the theme of this year’s contest, is an invitation to seek and reconstruct the history of the Festival of Two Worlds across the venues of the town where the event has taken place for over half a century. Spoleto, Theater City par excellence, has in fact spectacular spaces that seem made to host the festival: the Cathedral and its large stage square, the luxurious Teatro Nuovo, the elegant seventeenth-century Teatro Caio Melisso, the suggestive open-air Teatro Romano, the church of San Nicolò and its magnificent cloister, the dominant Rocca Albornoziana, the Gothic church of San Simone, the Lombard basilica of San Salvatore, UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Auditorium of the Stella, the noble palaces and the streets themselves permeated by timeless allure.
