Meet Your Owner

Andrew and Faith Chakalis - Ohio, USA

Andrew and I were first introduced to Borgo di Vagli by our close friends Curt and Holly Witchey, who knew our passion for Tuscany and shared Vagli's web site with us. Holly had mentioned that they had experienced the Hamlet on a type of "try before you buy" inspection visit and fell in love with the Hamlet and subsequently became owners of a one bedroom fractional.

Owner's Photo Competition

And the winner(s) of this months Owner's Photo Competition goes to Lee Cogher, Florence Italy.

You may remember that this time last year we awarded Fulvio a bottle of Brunello in appreciation for not only capturing unique "white" photos that we were missing and had been trying to add to our photo archive for a while, but predominantly for wading at waist height for 2 kilometers along our access road and up through the various olive groves to capture his shots.

If You Were Here Now

If you were at Borgo di Vagli in your Tuscan residence in the coming month, below are a few attractions you might consider visiting.

Exhibition Salvador Dali "DALI' The Universe Florence

If You Were Here Few Days Ago

Florence - Galleria dell' Academia 25th February 2013

Fulvio and Lee attended a memorable concert to honor Sig.ra Franca Falletti, who after more than 30 years leaves her position as Direttore della Galleria dell'Accademia. It was a very unique and emotional evening, with a number of respected artists presenting a very varied repertoire: from Bach, played on an original harpsichord, to Albinoni; from Piazzolla to Berio.

For those of you who haven't yet visited Borgo di Vagli and had the enjoyment of experiencing Dina's mouthwatering casalinga cuisine in the Hamlet's trattoria I' cche c'é c'é, in each newsletter we continue to highlight one of Dina's popular recipes for you to try at home.

Tip of the Month

Each month we highlight a place of interest around the globe that we consider as unique as Borgo di Vagli. The tips are selected as they either show respect for the environment, nature, and architectural beauty or are deeply indigenous to their individual origin. This month we have to thank our marvelous Resort Director Stefania Civitelli for sharing her experiences about her trip to Cuba with us.
"My trip to Cuba was a very much a last minute decision and, as such, I did not want to put too much expectation on this journey. I decided that I was going to relax at the beach and perhaps take a few trips to discover some of the natural beauty spots that the island is renowned for… As soon as I landed in L'Avana I met friendly people, and I immediately realised that this trip was going to take a completely different turn…
