Strawberry-Grape Tiramisù

For those of you who haven’t yet visited Borgo di Vagli and for those who had the enjoyment of experiencing Dina’s mouth-watering casalinga cuisine in the Hamlet’s trattoria I’ cche c’é c’é, in each newsletter we continue to highlight one of Dina's popular recipes for you to try at home, this month we highlight her Strawberry-Grape Tiramisù in a Jar recipe

Ingredients (two servings)

- 250gr mascarpone cheese
- 1 bunch of strawberry-grapes
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
- 1 ½ tablespoon of icing sugar
- 1 egg white
- 8 shortbread biscuits
- the juice of ½ lemon
- 175ml grape juice
- 2 small size jars

Method

1 Beat the egg white until stiff. In a separate bowl mix the mascarpone cheese with the icing sugar. Add the whipped egg white to the mix of cheese and sugar a spoonful at the time.
2 Wash the grapes carefully and gently dry. Cut the grapes and remove the seeds before dropping the chopped grapes in a pan and quickly sautéing them with the brown sugar and the lemon juice. Then leave to cool.
3 Soak the biscuits in the grape juice and start layering the jars. One layer of soaked biscuit, one layer of sautéed grapes and one spoonful of cream. 2 layers should be enough.
4 Top the jar with the remaining grapes.
5 Allow to rest in the fridge for at least one hour.
