Owner's Photo Competition

And the winners of this month’s Owner’s Photo Competition are David Cooper from Canada and Henrik Ferdinand from Denmark

David took and sent us this picture of S. Biagio and the skyline of Montepulciano, in the heat of the Summer: bright, colorful, full of senses….

Fulvio thought to turn it into a bit “sophisticated” and mono-tone image: more appropriate for the sensitivity of the end of the year….

It is interesting to see, though, how David’s photo doesn’t lose its strength and impact at all!
Bravo David.

But, this month, we want to actually award two great photographers amongst our Owners… it was very hard to make a decision and so we decided to award both of them and to take advantage of one of the two pictures and use it for our annual Greeting card you will soon receive from us.

Thanks and congratulation also to Henrik Ferdinand for his melancholic, fantastic view of Pierle Castle from Vagli in a misty morning, few weeks ago.
Bravo Henrik.

Each month a high-resolution photo will be chosen and circulated electronically; from now on the winner will fittingly be presented with a copy of the renowned American photographer Leonard Freed’s photo book Io Amo L’Italia. Freed’s exhibition Io amo l’Italia was held during 2012 in Milan, Rome and Turin and well supported by both critics and the general public. Leonard Freed once referred to his relationship with Italy as a “love story”.
