Housed at the base of the 14th century guard tower and virtually lit solely by candles, our on site Trattoria, I’cche c’è c’è prepares every night dishes that only old fashioned housewives are capable of preparing nowadays. Here, owners dine together as family on meals cooked using only firewood. The Trattoria has become the epicenter, the gathering place to enjoy good food with great company of like minded souls.

As used for centuries, here at “I’ cche c’è c’è”, we embrace the Italian country side style by using only wood to fuel our ovens, grills and stoves. This method of cooking saturates the food with distinctive flavours.

When creating her menu, Dina, our resident cook, offers you the opportunity to sample the dishes and recipes that are a traditional part of the farmer’s way of life. At the same time, she makes you enjoy the original local products (meats, fresh vegetables from her own vegetable garden, home-made fresh pasta and delicious desserts).

Of course, we use our incomparable, extra virgin olive oil, home-made here at Borgo di Vagli!
